It was never about archery.
Kinetic Edge is owned by Kip White and AJ Kahler — two friends who built their careers from the ground up, held each other to a higher standard along the way, and decided to build something together.
Two friends from the gym
We met at the gym a long time ago, right at the start of both of our careers. Neither of us had a title or a head start — just a work ethic and the same idea of what a good life takes. We’ve pushed each other ever since.
Kip White
Kip started at the entry level in financial services and worked his way up to partner at a wealth management firm. He helped lead that firm through its sale to a larger organization and still serves as a managing director and financial advisor — while building other businesses on the side.
AJ Kahler
AJ started at the entry level in industrial automation and worked his way up to leading global automation for a major manufacturer. Today he’s a vice president at an industrial AI company, building and leading teams that solve hard problems.
The business could have been anything
What kept our friendship going for all these years was shared values: striving for personal excellence, and refusing to let up on it.
We didn’t go into business together to sell bows. We did it to make a positive difference in people’s lives — to share what we’ve learned about living a fulfilled life by holding a standard of excellence in everything you do.
Archery happened to be the opportunity that showed up at exactly the right time. It also turned out to be the perfect way to share that outlook: every arrow is a rep, and getting better is up to you.
Hold a standard of excellence in everything we do — and bring as many people along as we can, so everyone wins together.

Standing on a strong foundation
Tim and Rhonda spent nearly two decades building MOR Archery into a home for archers and bowhunters across Macomb County — and one of the top 100 Mathews dealers in the country. We’re grateful for everything they built, and glad they remain part of our story.
